Meta recently revealed in a blog article that they will be adding new features that enable Facebook users as well as Instagram users to log in and navigate between different profile and accounts. Beginning with the profile switching feature users can quickly change to the Instagram and Facebook profile profiles when they join them in that same Accounts Center. The users will have the ability look at the both of profiles on Instagram as well as Facebook profiles at the same time.
You can also control the profiles that appear in the pane of profiles that switch them and also control the accounts that are allowed to log into one another. The features mentioned above will be soon available on Android, iOS and on the web.
Apart from the ability change profiles between them, Meta has redesigned the sign-up and login pages to work with both platforms. Users can also sign up for the Instagram and Facebook account and then use it to sign up on one of the platforms.
Users will receive a notice when the account is created by using an existing account or the account has been added to the Accounts Center.
People who have two accounts Instagram or Facebook accounts will soon be able utilize login credentials from one application to sign into the other. The only condition for both of the apps is that they be linked together via the Accounts Center. If you are using two-factor authentication enabled on the account you are using on your Facebook account, you’ll not be able to login to the account with Instagram login credentials. These features will soon be accessible on iOS as well as Android.
